Orca Safari Dives and Wreck and Fjord Diving
:6 days safari in Norway October 21-28 2009
Every year in October-November, the probably largest gathering of killing whales in the world take place in Lofoten,
due to enormous amounts of herring.
More than half of the norwegian killer whale population enter the fjord. Sometimes as many as 700 whales can be observed at the same time. 
We follow the whales closely to watch them play and feed. When possible, we enter the water and dive with them.
To be with these magnificent animals in their own habitat is an experience for life.
We operate from a well equipped 91ft live-aboard cutter with compressor, tanks and weights for 12 divers.

The safari starts in Korsnes, Tysfjord and lasts 6 days. A specially chosen DC with the best diving in
Northern Europe.
No limit diving tanks, air and weight belts included, Professional DC in typical Norwegianfishing village.

This is a liveaboard, that cruises up and down the Norwegian coastline chasing orcas and harboring over night in different harbors and small hillbilly harbor towns. We will also be able to see the Northern Lights, I have attached a photo of that so you can put that picture up as well as any pictures of the orcas that you can steal from this website . 
Adventure journey for divers
Strømsholmen is located between Kristiansund and Molde, and is one of Europe's best dive-centers.
Both for beginners and for experienced divers.
Guided tours can be arranged from the dive-center.
We have boats to bring you fast and safely to each dive-site.
All Divers must show a legal dive certificate before diving - PADI, CMAS or another legal certificate.
You will then get a diver-number that the diver carry while staying at Strømsholmen.
Strømsholmen is certified for PADI, and accepted by the Norwegian Dive Organization as dive-center and dive-school.
strømsholmen's facilities near the ocean contains:
-Compressor-room with 2 compressors 200/300 bar.
-Capacity: 700 l/m. n - Airbank with 120.000 liter air.
-Workshop andDressing-room with dryer for suits.
-Safekeeping of dive-accessories.
-Showers and toilet.
-Docks close to dressing-room.
-E6-film developing.
-Divers-pub with beer and wine.
-Shrimp-evenings is arranged in the right environment in the divers-pub.
-Shellfish parties can be reserved on advance.
Strømsholmen is also hiring out underwater photo-equipment. You can also rent or buy Dive-equipment,
rent an underwater scooter and wind-surf at Strømsholmen.
Strømsholmen is based upon visitors making their own food, but if you wish, you can reserve full pension,
but contact us in advance. Shops and post-office close by.

If someone wish to have a quick go and back trip from home with plane, contact us for more information.
In the regular guided dive-sites there is not allowed to catch
or shoot fish or to take any of the goods found at the ship-wrecks . This is to preserve the wildlife so that
other divers can have the same experience of the life at the sea bottom. If any of the visitors wish to have
fish to the meals, there is possibilities to fish on their own, but on special places where the nature isn't so fragile.
There is cooking possibilities at the center. There are many excellent dive-sites that can be reached without bout,
in walking distance from the center.
